Schwartz's deli

Yesterday I discovered a little more of the city with my friends Nicole and Jill. We went to part of the city called The Plateau and looked in a few shops then had lunch at a very popular place called Schwartz's. Its a deli that is famous for its smoked meat. This place is quite an experience. Its a small place, packed tight with tables and there is always a line outside of people waiting to get in. As soon as there are enough chairs open, the waiter will tell you which table to go to and you sit down at the table next to strangers. The menu is limited - you have the option of either getting a smoked meat sandwich or smoked meat with a roll (so you can make your own sandwich). On the menu it says something like "Everyone loves Schwartz's smoked meat, even celebrates!" and then it lists all of the famous people who have eaten there. Can you guess who was listed first? That's right - Celine Dion.
There are a ton of beautiful cathedrals in Montreal. But from what I am told, this one is just a facade and has a school and metro right behind it. Its beautiful anyway!
