We celebrated by going out to lunch at one of our favorite restaurants - East Side Mario. That night we went to a dance put on by our stake. We got there 30 minutes late, but we were still one of the only couples there. It's kind of awkward being the only ones on the dance floor! Pretty soon more people showed up and it ended up being a ton of fun!

Valentine's Day!
This year Ryan and I celebrated our first Valentine's day as a married couple. It was also our first Valentine's day actually TOGETHER! Last year, on February 4th, Ryan proposed while he was visiting me in Utah. The very next morning he flew back to Canada and left me all alone. 9 days later was Valentine's day and I was still all alone. We sent cards and called each other, but it's just not the same. So this year was bound to be so much better than last year!

Ryan gave me red roses. How pretty!
As a gift to Ryan I made lasagna for dinner (one of his favorites) and Oreo truffles for dessert. Yummy!

Sounds like you guys had a great Valentine's-and hooray for you that you went to the stake dance! I'm very impressed that you can remember the exact date you were proposed to. Love the shelf picture, and I must say, you have great legs for a cute skirt and high heels, Elizabeth!
