Merry Christmas

Noah is 5 weeks old today and is getting cuter every day.  Here is what's new in his life:
-He is now smiling, which I love!
-He just moved up to 3 month clothing
-He is sleeping closer to 3 hours at a time during the nights (hooray!)
-He loves his baths
-He loves his daddy - Noah stares at Ryan all the time

As for me and Ryan, we still love being parents to little Noah.  It can be frustrating at times (like when Noah pooped on me last night), but it is also so much fun.  We've started having some cabin fever lately so the Christmas holiday was much needed.  Our first major outing was our ward Christmas party.  It was nice to feel like part of the world again!  Other people offered to hold Noah so I was able to eat my entire meal and use both hands to eat!  A couple days later we headed to Cobourg to spend Christmas with Ryan's family.  Noah has a cousin just 4 months older, so it was fun to see them both together.  We had a fun week visiting with family and showing off Noah.  On Christmas morning Ryan's parents came down with what we thought was the flu.  The family decided to postpone the Christmas celebration and we decided to head back to Montreal early, so that Noah wouldn't get sick.  So after church we spent the rest of Christmas day driving home.  It turned out that Ryan's parents just had food poisoning and felt better the next day. Not the typical Christmas, but at least we had already had a week with the family and will see them again in January to open presents and have our Christmas meal.

Do you know how hard it is to get a non-blurry photo of babies?
Not a very good picture of Noah, but Emma looks cute.
Noah on Christmas day.  I don't think he's caught on to the excitement of Christmas yet.

The beginning of a smile.  Look at those chubby cheeks!  I love them.
