Happy Canada Day everyone! Last night I saw a jello dessert with a maple leaf made out of strawberries on top. I thought it was so cute! So today I made a cake to celebrate and tried to do the strawberry maple leaf. Can you see it?
It's a chocolate cake with strawberry jelly filing and cream cheese frosting. The frosting was super soft and the strawberries on the sides of the cake started to slip down within a minute. But it still tasted great!

Happy Canada Day! We had hotdogs, poutine and are lighting sparklers tonight. Olive wore her Canada shirt Bawpa gave her and we found a Maple Leafs onsie for Miles. He peed through it before James got home from work, but its the thought right? We wish we could be there to celebrate with you.
