I made an awesome pie yesterday.
It was a S'mores pie.
With gram cracker and chocolate and marshmallow.
It was just like the real thing - I even burnt the marshmallow, just like when I make s'mores over a campfire.
Right before serving, you are supposed to toast the marshmallow in the oven with the broiler. I got a little distracted and when I pulled it out the marshmallow was black. I had to scrape off the burnt marshmallow and serve plain ol' chocolate pie.
I was disappointed.
I made more marshmallow today for our leftover pie and it is delicious! It definitely makes the pie better.

Sweeeet! I shall be making this for a Valentine's weekend treat for Eric. He loves smores. Unfortunately, I'll have to omit the almonds for his sake. I'll do it another day with those. Anyway, I hope it warms up soon for you guys!
